We look forward to meeting you at your first visit to our office. During this time, we will help you get acquainted with our office and learn about your orthodontic treatment.

Every patient's orthodontic treatment is different, and we promise to give you the personal attention you deserve. Your first visit will consist of an initial examination and a discussion of your potential treatment options.

This important visit will allow Dr. Francis to determine if this is the right time to begin treatment.

What You Need to Know

  • There is no charge for your initial exam and consultation.
  • This appointment usually takes about 1 hour.
  • We will take some photos of your teeth and bite, a panoramic X-ray and one additional X-ray-if needed.
  • Dr. Francis will do a comprehensive clinical exam, and discuss treatment options, and answer any questions you may have.

Creating Your Custom Treatment Plan

After reviewing your records, Dr. Francis will join you in a private consultation room to discuss your individualized and unique treatment plan. Dr. Francis will point out specific areas of concern and show you what kind of corrections you can expect by showing photos and videos of similar cases.

Dr. Francis will take as much time as you need to answer your questions and decide what kind of treatment is best for you. Dr. Francis and his assistant will then walk you through the process.

You’ll get all of your questions answered, including:

  • Is there a condition that orthodontics can address?
  • Is treatment needed now or should treatment be delayed until appropriate growth, tooth eruption or other factors have occurred?
  • What treatment procedures will be used to correct the problem?
  • Do any permanent teeth need to be removed?
  • How long will treatment take?
  • How much will it cost?
  • What are my payment options?

The orthodontic treatment process involves a series of orthodontic visits. We value the relationship that we’ll build with you and your family throughout that process and want you to be confident that you’re receiving the best orthodontic care possible.
